I have been suffering from anxiety for a year and 1/2. Started with a couple of panic attacks. I work through it - took a while. i tried several medication and just couldn't find "the one" the was right for me.

The past year I have been suffering from a "brain fog" some call it derealization. Not really anxious just on days that it was real bad.

My pdoc didn't think I was suffering from derealization neither did my social worker. They sent me for more testing.

Make a long story short - all test came back fine - still waiting for results from a brain scan-

I tried holistic measures.

I took a cocktail of vitamins and minerals including st johns wort and on the third day I was really a sick girl. My mind was sleeping but my body wanted to move.Ever since I have been anxiety ridden.

I think I need to go back on something. I am still using the Linden Method which helped me my last bout but feel I need a little drug support.

How many SSRI type meds have you all tried til you found the one?

I tried lexapro, wellbutrin, generic prozac and celexa. And of course klonopin when needed.

My primary care wants to put me on atterral for my brain fog so that I can focus and not feel like I am in a dream all the time. I know that this is going to send me thru the roof. Maybe I should add an SSRI with that.

Any comments on this I would appreciate. I really need some guidence.

Anyone? Just want to know how many meds you tried til you found the one? Having a real bad time with this. Had to take klonopin today to take the edge off. I am feeling bad about that.

Hello.I am really not very helpful.I have tried almost all meds and still haven't found one that works. My doctor recently had me try seroquel because I can't tolerate any of the others. It made me too tired all the time.I feel your pain.I also constanty feel my own pain.My chest, arms, neck, back hurt constantly.I constantly think I am going to keel over from a heart attack.I am sorry I am of no help, just wanted to let you know you are not alone.Good luck to you.

Has anyone tried biofeedback? I did and it helped my anxiety immensely.
