The gap between my teeth are barely noticeable. very very small on the front. But even though they are very small they are shaped in a way (Triangle shaped) that food keeps getting stuck in there. Can I get braces to fix this?

Have you checked with your dentist and asked HIM this question?

I talked to an orthodontist about it. He said he couldn't do anything about it and I should floss it which I do. The food just gets stuck there easily and becomes a problem when I eat outside where I cannot floss. I'm seeing another orthodontist on tuesday as well.

I get alot of food stuck now, but mine is because I have gum disease and have alot of recession, the gaps between my teeth where I have lost gum is causing me to get food trapped very easily. Don't know if anything can be done about this, have you looked at a water pik? They are fairly pricey and when I spoke to a hygenist friend she said to floss is better but you may want to look at that.
