I have a stone that the Dr ruled out to be small enough to pass on its own.
I got sick of straining my urine 2 days ago!! Do you always see them when they pass or can they be much smaller than what my eyes will see?
thanks for your answers in advance.

Sometimes you will but sometimes you might not. I saw the last two that I passed and it looked liked a shiney little rock. One way to know, is the excruciating pain that you go through as you get ready to pass it! That you can't miss!

I have passed some without pain, and I have passed some without seeing. As a female, it is harder for us to "catch" eerything in the strainer so you may miss it.
