Im Ally, 17...just had my tonsils out four days ago and I hate this feeling! When do the scabs fall off!?!?! How is that process?? I just want it to all be over with its super uncomfortable :(

Hi there, I think mine started coming off around the 5th day or so. It wasn't nice at all...I could feel them sliding down and I couldn't handle that feeling very well. I had to run to the bathroom each time I felt one and just throw it up, because I have a sensitive gag reflex. I remember I still felt some scabs coming off around day 8 or 9, but after that I didn't feel any more. They were the bottom ones.

Just don't be surprised the next few nights if you wake up in a lot of ear pain...it's your throat hurting because it's dried out from the way you breathe when you sleep. Sorry if I'm not being too optimistic, but really, these boards helped me out so much because I knew what was coming and what I needed to expect!

thank you so much for your reply! its good to know what exactly to expect, i've really liked reading these boards they make me feel less...alone in this hahaha! I'm actually really hoping my scabs start falling off soon they are so uncomfortable...i haate the feeling. I cant wait to eat real food again...haha
