Wondering, since I have had my splints (mouth pieces) now for about a week and a half, is there anyone with experience with wearing both the night and day splints 24 hours a day, who has experienced crazy side effects of these?
What I mean by this is, the second day after getting the splints, I woke up dizzy. I had dizziness before getting the splints. This dizziness was different. More like, if I was sitting close to something I was looking at, I could see it fine. If I tried to watch television at a distance, it was as if I was crossing my eyes... when in fact I wasn't. Double vision constantly at a distance.
If I tilt my head backwards, I get nauseous. I am taking Gravol daily at the moment to curb the nausea/help with the dizziness.
Another weird side effect started 2 days ago.. loss of taste. Eating a piece of chocolate cake for example, I could not taste anything. Just didn't have any flavor. On the flip side, my sense of smell is either heightened, or I am smelling things that are not there.
Anyone else have weird things happen when wearing these?
