Greetings. I had Lasik done on 2/14. My vision was really bad -- approx 20/1000. I was not an ordinary candidate but wasn't an extreme candidate either so after doing my research, went ahead and had the procedure done as I've grown quite tired of wearing the equivalent of the Hubble Space Telescope on my ears. At this writing, my vision is vastly improved but not 20/20. . . . yet. When I first wake up in the morning, my vision is great, but after about 30 minutes or so, things start getting blurry to where my focal range is about 10 feet. I realize the procedure works differently for each participant but, boy, am I antcy on getting the results I want -- 20/20. I know I need to be patient and so I humbly tick off the time until I can see clearly. Hopefully my wait won't be in vain. If you had similar visual measurements before Lasik and went through the procedure and have any comments/suggestions, please share your experiences either here or my email is bobschueler@hotmail.com. Thanks

It has been a while since your post. I had Lasik Jan. 21st. If your Dr. has confirmed that all is well with the surgery then patience is your friend until your vision is stable. The best information I have obtained is that it may take 90 days if you were originally nearsighted(- prescription) or 180 days if you were originally farsighted(+ prescription).
Be sure to keep the eyes wet. Dry eyes affect the healing process. Your Dr. should tell you if you have signs of dryness. If you are young and were nearsighted originally the dry eye problem is less of an issue.
