Can anyone tell me the pros & cons of wearing Toric Contact lens? I would also like to hear from people that have tried both the toric and either soft or gas perms and tell me if they feel different . I wear gas perms now and the doctor told me that I would be able to see better out of a toric lens since I have both nearsightedness and an astigmatism. Interested in hearing what you think.

Hey Andrea,

I use a Toric lens in my left eye as part of my mono vision. Toric's make a huge difference and if the fit is good (it took two trys before I got the perfect fit). My vision is exactly what it should be. The Toric lens is more rigid and slightly harder for me to get in on the first try like my non-toric lens. The comfort level is about the same. I use Frequency 55's That is the Brand. Toric's work well for me.

TORICS are much more comfortable to wear than gp lenses, provided they are fitted properly. you can also have an option of disposable lenses or colored lenses
