Hi - I am a newbie and have posted on the Ovarian threads - they where very helpful! but I wonder if I should be in here instead.

My problem is really scaring me - not least due to all the info I have read on the net that has scared me wit less. Basically my periods have become abnormally long. Its as simple as that. They now last 9 - 10 days in total. They are the same as usual - no heavier and the last 4 days of my cycle are just very light spotting. I really was not worried, not until I mentioned it in the passing to my gp. I have been sent to see a gynocoligist next week - so will get my answers then. I am really freaking out about this - sorry! so any in-put would be very gratefully received. I apologise if this question annoys any-one as I know that many of you are dealing with very serious probelms. I am simply just scared. Thanks.

Please do not be scared...It is still early and you could just be having longer periods. Do not stress as this is unhealthy on its own. Be brave....Be bold and have faith.
