Hi.
I'd like anyone's thoughts on the use of heating pads.
I have HL, and am experiencing quite a bit of back pain from Neulasta (growth hormone shot). Throughout the last year or so, I've always found great comfort from heat--especially heating pads. Then, I read somewhere, that they're not so sure they're good for you, due to the electric force and that it actually might disrupt your immune system. I guess "the jury's out" on the subject---like, they really don't know.
Goodness.
Any thoughts from anyone? I suppose that's yet another question for my Oncologist on Thursday. I certainly don't want to compromise my immune system any more than it already is!
Thanks.
