I had the weirdess thing happen to me at work the other night. I was working at my computer and all of a sudden its like something in my eye exploded shooting water(I think) onto my glass lens and my eye burned so bad I couldn't open it. I had to go to the restroom and wash it out with cold water. I am not sure it was water that squirted out because when I tried to wipe it off my glass lens it smeared. I had to use water and soap to clean it. I came back to my desk and checked above me, I thought maybe something dropped from the ceiling above me but theres nothing there except the ceiling and its not leaking water or anything. What was this? Has anybody ever had this happen? I have had a time when my eye got bloodshot because of vessel breaking but it didn't cause this kind of thing in fact I didn't even know it happen until someone ask me what was wrong with my eye. My eye did get a little red after this happen but it went away as fast as it came. Any ideas. My eye is fine now. It did not affect my vision other than I couldn't open my eye when it happen because it burned.

Oh my gosh, I would SO go to an Opthamologist. At least CALL and explain what happened and see what they say. I would think that that is highly unusual. Please call, your eyes are nothing to mess around with!
