Hello

My mother just called me yesterday to let me know that her doctor just informed her that she has Kidney Renal Failure probably due frome the many dieuritics that she has to take because of her congestive heart failure. My mother is pretty upset since she has so many other health problems including thyroid and diabetes.

So what is Kidney Renal Failure and can she survive this? She will be meeting with a specialist on the 16th, but I was hoping that I could get her some answers sooner.

thanks!

Allie,

Thanks for replying! Well I believe she is meeting with a Kidney Specialist. What makes matter worse is that I live 1100 miles from her so I can't be there with her right..so I figured I would do as much research for her as possible. She did tell me today that the blood test showed that she is at stage 2 oppose to 7 or higher which would mean dialysis (mispelled). So she is relieved by that and her weekly nurse told her that she probably can take herbs to help strengthen the kidneys in the meantime.
