willsmomm 07-03-2007, 07:11 PM Hi - can you please share with me the symptoms that you experienced that lead to your diagnosis? thanks in advance. pamelita1017 07-05-2007, 12:38 PM I think it's terrible that all these people have viewed your post but no one has replied. I had only one person reply to mine; I guess I should consider myself lucky. How old are you? I am not an expert, but having periods that are lasting longer than normal could just be a sign of fibroids or cysts, or your thyroid might be out of whack. Maybe the older we get, the more chances that this kind of thing can happen. I know you're scared, but all you can do is have a doctor examine you. I have a biopsy myself next week, and I have speculated over and over again what it could be, but in the end, realized there is nothing I can do and to just wait and see. I hope you have a support system (friends, family) that can reassure you until you know what might be the matter. Good luck! Yeh I know lots have viewed with no-one replying. I think its because this is simply not a popular health issue or maybe there are not many regulars! Well I'd like to think its that! I post on another health issue (completely un-related to this!) and its like a community - every-one supports every-one else and helps all they can. In fact I joined 3 years ago and its same old faces and newbies who we welcome! Like you say all I can do is wait......let me know ho wyou get on too. Once again THANKS!
