My left eye (under my eye) has been twitching for almost three weeks now. It seems to originate from the corner of my eye close to my nose and creates an upward pulling motion. Even when I do not see the twitch I can feel it. It is so irritating! Has anyone had this type of twitching before.........I doubt mine IS related to stress since it twitched the whole time I was on vacation!

yep, eye twitching can occur once in a while, it is just a nerve causing spasms... don't know what to do to get rid off them, but a doc can help.. maybe

A twitch, or tic, is caused by a nerve in the face — not the eye. It is very often a response to stress or some other stimulus. Twitches usually go away on their own, but persistent tics can be treated by injecting botulism toxin into the offending muscle.

I gotta say I am having this as well but I also have seizures and after my last real bad grand-mal it has not stopped and yes you do feel like everyone can see it... not only that but its so enoying, mine is however, starting to get less and less.. thank god LOL I had this once before about 2 years ago....

LOL hey! i have the same problem, havent had it in a long time (touch wood)and it would usually goes away, im glad im not the only one. I use to think i was a freak & i was the only with this problem LOL
