I'm going on this trip in a couple of weeks and the problem is that the traveling will be overnight and i'm not suppose to sleep in my contacts. Will it be ok to just wash the contacts before i leave and sleep in them. The traveling will take 12-14 hours. I can hardly see without the contacts.

NOOOOOOOOOooooo, dun ever do tat.Ur eyes would be lacking in oxygen, which may result in very dry & irritated eyes.

I would like to suggest tat you try those contacts tat u can wear for 30-straight days before changing, unless u r sensitive to it. (although myself haven't tried but gathering info from this forum first)
Hopefully, you find wat u need & I wish u all the best.

Sometimes you're sold lens that are approved for extended wear even if your doctor does not subscibe to wanting you to wear them while you sleep. The best way to find out is to call the place where you got them and ask the same question you've asked here. They will tell you if you can safely do this for a short period of time.

Sleeping w/ contacts is VERY bad.........
We ALL know this... unfortunately I do it ALL the time. If you do it take re-wetting drops w/ you sometimes they get REALLY dry when you wake up and can fall out!
Can't say do it... but I do and NEVER have any problems!
