I have been ill for about 6 months with what the doctors think is vestibular neuronitis - my main symptom being dizziness - but recently I have noticed that my vision is sometimes quite blurry - almost like I am seeing things through a heat wave - it's starting to worry me. I have had a blood test which came back ok and also balance tests which I am waiting for the results of. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Are you under a lot of stress? My eyedoctor told me that a vision symptom of stress is having wavy vision (just like you described) Maybe your condition is putting a strain on your nerves or something. My mom has the same thing, but has no vison problems, just the dizziness.

I am under quite a lot of stress yes, my job is quite stressful and I have a 3 hour round trip in the car to work every day. The ENT has scheduled an MRI as he wants to check for more serious things.

I have noticed that when I move my eyes that there is a lot of clear objects that move across my view - is there a way to get my eyes clear of these objects like an eye wash or similar?
