Hi,
I am desparately trying to find something to work for me. My Paxil quit working, and for the last 3 months I've had anxiety and tension most of the time. I went up on the Paxil, but it didn't work. I once tried Zoloft, but it didn't help, but I don't think I took enough for long enough. I was wondering if anyone takes both, or a combo of any of the SSRI meds?
I went to my doc yesterday and she would not give me something new. She wants me to see a psychiatrist. I have Zoloft, and was thinking about trying it again, since I can't get into the psych until Mid Aug.
Help!

Mixing two SSRI'S is never a good idea. You should run all of this by your doctor.

I asked the pharmacist, and they said it was okay to wean off one while getting on the other slowly. One doc told me she thought when I was on Cymbalta my nervousness was from stopping the Paxil cold turkey, and she suggested I add some Paxil back for a while as see. I should have tried it.
