This is quite common and a few of my children had this. It is fine. The adult tooth will eventually force the baby tooth out. Sometimes a dentist will remove the baby tooth so there are no spacing problems, but usually once the baby tooth comes out on its own the adult tooth will move right into where it should be. Not to worry - that baby tooth will fall out soon.

All my daughter's teeth came in this way. She always had one coming in before the baby tooth was out. Ped. dentist said it was normal and she is now 11 and literally all her teeth came in that way. It does look kind of freaky but is nothing to worry about.
