Ok.. i need some opinions. I've been ttc to conceive for 2 yrs. have done the shots, etc. my re has said that i most likly will not become pregnant unless we do donor eggs. We have decided to adopt and actually have an appt. next tuesday to go forward. I'm alittle freaked b/c i am five days late and am starting to feel a little sick ? I don't want to get excited b/c i'm afraid that i'll be disappointed again....i was sick w/my daughter right away and when i had a miscarriage ? Could I be pregnant ? any opinions !

take an hpt, its the only way to know?!? if its positive, THEN YES!! your re said you wont get pregnant on your own, but youve been pregnant twice before? so is the problem with your eggs something recent? there is always the possibility there were a few good ones in there, i guess. i hope you are. but there is no way that you can tell until you test.

Ohhh!! Hoorah adoption!! VERY good choice! Maybe you can get your doctor to check if you are pg. On Tuesday, you have your appt. for adoption, (correct?) and on tuesay, you will be over a week late for AF, non? So you can test then, non? Like tuesday morning, you can test. Remember that each pregnancy is different....my mother, with my older siste, she was sick all the time....she got moring sickness at two weeks! And she has all pg symptoms! With me, she didn't find out until 7weeks becuase I gave her no troubles. :angel: And she ate like a cow. :p But really, since you're late, you can test now, can't you? If you can, I would asap. Let us know when you test and how it goes!!

my re said that my egg reserve isn't good. they are not maturing on their own. It's not impossible, but w/me doing the shots and IUI last year, nothing happened so they figured that they aren't maturing on their own. we actually are on a family vacation at the beach...flying home tomorrow. so i figured that i would test first thing on sunday morning...that would basicallt be a week late....i just find it ironic that i have an adoption appt. on tuesday and i'm having some pregnancy symptoms...keep you posted

Bien sur, test when you get home. It would be ironic if you were pregnant while you were planning to adopt! :bouncing: I odn't know what I would do! Ye,s please keep us posted, and hope you're having a lovely vacation!

Hi. A friend of mine had been ttc for ages (this was many years ago) and when they eventually decided to go for adoption and started the procedures, she found out she was pg. I think this is quite common. I suppose you could be late because you're on holiday and relaxing, but who knows. Let us know when you've taken the test and good luck!

ok....so the test was positive (two of them)....I'm in total shock. My RE just ran some blood test this morning, no hopefully everything is ok. I'm cautiously excited.....I was pretty sick last week; haven't felt that much the last two days....but it's still really early and I know i'm making myself nuts. you make yourself nuts trying to get pregnant and nuts when you are ! ! Gotta love it.....keep everyone posted.

Happy nine months!

Ok...so I went to my RE and the blood test levels were great and they did a sonogram to make sure everything looked good. The sac (they won't call it a baby until they see the heart beat) was where it should be and everything looked good. I go back in two weeks for another sonogram and hopefully to see a heart beat......I'm still in major shock !

thanks for all the support....We still haven't really told anyone yet, at least until the next sonogram, i just feel great to be able to spread this news w/you guys ...thanks !;)
