I just recently got contacts and in my left eye when i have them in, sometimes my vision is slightly blurred. I asked the doctor about it and he double checked my prescription and he said everything was right. I have slight stigmatism in my left eye but he said its not strong enough where I need corrective lenses for it. Everything is clean and what not. Has this ever happened to anyone?

thanks.

Happens to me all the time. I have an astigmatism in my right eye, and that seems to happen a lot. I wear a toric lens in my right eye and an acuvue in my left. Do you find that the corrective lens is more uncomfortable than the regular lens??

Hopefully this won't sound too silly, but you might want to make sure your lens is not "inside out". There have been times when I felt my vision was "off kilter" and the only thing wrong was that one of my lenses was inside out. Sounds goofy but it can happen.

Yes, I experience this quite often. The reasons it will happen to me include: the contacts can become dirty; contacts were inside out; and in the rare case, sometimes I've had my contacts in the wrong eye-I have different perscriptions for each eye, and once I got them mixed up... it really messed up my vision and was not pleasant http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif

I have the smae exact problem. I can never see clearly out of my left eye. I do have a stigmatism in that eye and I do wear the Toric lens in that eye. I know that the lens is not dirty(because it happens even when I switch my contacts every two weeks) or inside out or anything like that. I am also very confused about this because I work late at night on the computer and I have trouble seeing what I am doing even from less than 2 feet away. I just had my prescription changed 2 months ago so I don't think that is the problem. I am scared that my vision is getting worse as the days pass. Also, this just started a few days ago but, the contact in that eye seems to lift off of the eye and I need to squint alot to see anything at all. And it hurts when that starts to happen.
