I had my 1 week visit today and the doctor said there was a very slight wrinkle on the side of my flap (left eye). She said it did not seem to affect my vision since it is towards the ends and is not over the center of my eye. She also said this happens sometimes because the shape of my eye was changed.....I was a -8 -7.....Anyone had this or should I be concerned....(she is not the doctor who performed the Lasik but one of his associates. I will be seeing him next Monday....
by the way, my close up distance is great but distance is blurry.....She said it was normal for now....but i needed to give it more time....

Hi,
I had lasik over five years ago. I too have a little wrinkle on the side of my left eyelid. I guess, come to think of it, I didn't even mention it nor did my doctor. Now, thanks to you, I know what caused that. It doesn't effect my vision either but is just a little cosmetic annoyance! Guess, to me, it's worth it for the sake of the improved vision. It took several months for my distance vision to stabilize. Be sure to use the drops for the dryness you might experience and try to wait it out. My close up vision was good, but is now failing...only due to my AGE!!!!

I would think it would take more that a few days, but don't know anything about "refloat" surgery. Give it a few weeks before you get too worried, everyones eyes appear to heal differently.
