Hi,
My RE had all my labs redone after 2 years. There's something I don't feel is ok with my insulin, can you please help me? My appointment is next Wednesday, so I need to have an idea before hand, before I become insane :dizzy:
Glucose: Fasting: 80
2 Hour: 86
Insulin: Fasting: 22.98
2 Hour: 9.70
All my other labs are pretty ok. FSH is 6.12 ( It was "5.13" 2 years ago) and my LH is 5.57
BTW, I have had already 7 medicated IUI's and 2 IVF's, all of them have failed.

Sorry to hear you've had such a terrible time with all those IUIs as well as unsuccessful ivf. (Welcome to the board by the way!)
I'm sorry I can't really help with interpreting your results but hopefully someone will be able to shed some light on them. The FSH sounds good though. I think anything under 10 is ok.

Hi welcome to the board, I think your levels look normal/average. I would check with your doctor though. Sorry you have had trouble concieving. Good Luck in the future. AimeeM

Well, after 2 years of treatments and trying to find out what's happening with the quality of my eggs. I hope they find the answer.

Salut ma chère Xiob. after so long I hope they find the answers too! Has anyone gotten back to you about your insulin level? I do not know where you are from, cherie, however perhaps there is a Toll free help line with nurses? Or perhaps you should call your dr office? You must tell us how it goes, okay, ma chère?

Well, I went to my RE today, and just as I though, she diagnosed me with insulin resistance based on my Fasting insulin and glucose level. She prescribed Glucophage (Metformin) 500mg 2x day and will check my levels in 4 weeks.
