I actually have acne and still haven't found something that covers all that well, so i'm curious to see if anyone does have a good cover up as well.

Have you heard of Bare Essentials? It's not a creme or liquid foundation, but more like loose powder. Anyway I use it and it's a very natural, light foundation, but covers blemishes really well!!! And they come in all colors to match different skin tones. I've gotten mine at Sephora and my friend hooked me on it. It's a bit pricey but lasts a very long time. Hope this helps! :)

I think those stick foundation/concealers with a mineral makeup OVER it works great! I use a stick concealer by Flirt (you can buy it at Kohls) over any problem spots and under my eyes, then I apply my Bare Minerals. I was able to cover up spots with only the Bare Minerals, but it was pretty time consuming using the concealer brush and the sticks are so easy to swipe on and blend! I also recommend a product by Maybelline. It's called pure concealer and it's a little stick (a very thin one, like an eyeliner) that you use to draw over the acne spot. It has acne medication in it too, so it helps it heal. I love using this and it works great if I ever get any body acne! I just lightly tap the spot with my finger becauase if I rub it to blend it, it comes off.

I think the Maybelline one is about $5, so it's a good price! Yeah Bare Minerals isn't cheap, but if you ever decide to use it, I recommend buying the $60 kit that comes with everything you need. If you buy the foundation and the brush to apply it, it's already at least $50, so you might as well get the blush, bronzer, brushes, and an extra foundation for only a little bit more! It really does make a big difference to use the proper brush.
I hope the Maybelline stuff works for you! I'm sure it can work good with other makeup as well. It's small so you can carry it around in your purse for touch ups too!

I love Revlon Colorstay foundation with Soft Flex. It is SO good (for me anyway). I don't have pimples as such anymore (I'm 28 now), but do have some discolouration from old pimples and some pinkish permanent sun damage, and this is the ONLY foundation that covers it all and actually STAYS on my face all day.
It's $35 here in the shops (Australia), but I got it for $20 online.
If you want to tone down any redness, they say to use a yellow based (NOT green, or you'll look grey) concealer underneath your normal foundation.
