Hi Everyone!
I haven't posted for awhile but I have been reading a few posts. I think the heat is starting to get to most everyone. With all we have on our plates we don't need anything extra as in ways of getting testy with each other.

6pac the advise that everyone here is offering is to help you know that you have options that are open to you. I personally always enjoy what msnik has to say and she has NEVER tried to steer anyone in the wrong direction. I believe once you don't listen to the angry words of someone who clearly needs help the sooner you will mentally be able to start helping yourself. It's good to be there for your friend but let him know that you have a lot of problems yourself and you need to get fixed for yourself and then you can be a better friend to your friend, but I think what msnik was trying to say is that you can't be around angry attitudes when you are totally scared to death yourself. We are all scared and we were handed this and we all have to deal with it and being here for everyone and keeping a positive attitude is what we do to help us deal with what we've been dealt. I think you should stay away from your friend until both of you get help for yourselves and then you'll find that you can both be there for each other in times of need instead of feeding each others anger. Nobody here means you any harm only help and if you have a bad day speak out, vent everyone will be here to listen.
None of us want to have this but we do, we would love to be back to our normal selves and not have any disease but we do and as afraid as the shot that I am I'm going to do it because it's whats giving me my life back. One more thing 6pac you should never listen to men even in the best of health remember they usually don't go to the dr unless we make them. Thats all I'm going to say for now.

Hey ya Hotflash..
First of all, thank you . You paid me a very nice compliment, and its gratefully accepted and acknowledged!;) You were also very right in what you said to 6paq,although I wonder if she will read the post...it doesnt appear she has read any of the ones in her thread..but maybe she will. If she does, you were very sweet in your words of wisdom, and you interpreted what I said, well.

The heat is getting to many of us...I agree...its the worst time for MSers. I cannot wait until Fall and am trying to plan my next vacation in somewhere like Alaska! We usually go to an island....im begging my husband NOT to go that route this year! (and if we do, it will be in Feb or sometime before it gets really tropically hot!). Overall, Ive been feeling "off" the past week....I did the steroids things 2 weeks ago, it didnt help me at all....they finally wore off and Im feeling like I did when I started, which still isnt good...but the heat, the blasted heat, isnt giving up. Tomoorrrow, where I live its supposed to be 97 degrees (monday too) with 99% humidity both days...ugh. I can hardly wait.

Loved your last line on listening to men---that was spot on! I know my husband has to be dragged to his apponitments, kicking and screaming all the way, and he has a serious pulminary disease which I am doing everything to keep under control....men. What is it with them and doctors? lol.
Good post, Hotflash..
And hugs and many, many thanks.
Nikki
