Yo,

I'm wondering, I have a few spots on my face and some on my upper back/shoulders. This summer i've made a pact that I will get clear skin by the end of it.

So i'm trying this rigorous plan, here goes.

For breakfast i've eliminated normal caramel covered cereal and now eat Ready Brek Oatmeal with a glass of orange juice. Perhaps it would be a good idea to add a piece of fruit in here(any recommendations?)

For lunch, snacks and dinner I've had about half a bar of chocoilate since i've started, I don't eat junk food anyway and try to have a well rounded diet, using brown bread instead of white and staying away from things like shop bought sandwiches and saussage rolls etc.

Can someone please give me advice on what sort/how much meat I should intake?

I have also been trying to drink lotttss of water, like 8 glasses a day. Is that a good amount, or should it be more? I've never before really drunk so much water in my life, like 1 or 2 glasses a day perhaps, so i'm really hoping this'll make a difference.

I've also been taking one omega 3 fish oil tablet thing a day.
+ The recommended amount of apple cider vinegar

For cleaning my face, I'm washing it with a clearasil deep cleanser, which is kinda like an anti-spot soap, then i'm putting on some sort of clearasil deep spot cleanser which you dont wash off which sinks into your pores. On any cuts or blemishes where theres an open wound after being squeezed I'm applying salt then also a rescue cream on the wounds.

On top of that I have tried to completely stop picking at spots and i've tried to stop touching my face during the day and also using more clean towels.

I'm also using a homemade oatmeal face pack, i'm wondering, how often should i use that? I've currently used it every 2 days. Is that too much?

I thought what would be a good idea would be to have a bath and while my pores are still open cover everywhere my face is suspectible to spots with the deep cleanser and let it soak into my pores.

Is going to a sauna a good idea?

Also, I'm getting the recommended 8-9 hours sleep a night, and even thought I have a 14 week summer holiday I have been trying to get to bed before midnight. and hopefully asleep before or around then.

When/if the sun ever comes out i'm wondering if sunbathing would help as i've heard that UV rays kill acne?

In the way of exercise I'm quite fit and healthy anyway, I play tennis almost everyday but thats for leisurely pursuits and I doubt hwo much that can sustain me once the wet weather rolls in and I loose time for it in place of work and studies.

So to counter this I was thinking of going jogging twice a week, about 2 miles in 10-15 minutes and gradually improve the distance and timing.

Then also, per day, I thought I should do some sit ups/crunches and press ups but I was uncertain of how many, so could someone please advise? I dunno if this helps but I already have a six pack and quite large biceps, althoguh they're not brilliant by any stretch of the imagination(so yeah if that helps in the way of how much I should do then cool)

And i'm going to see a dermatologist type person for a facial in the next couple of days.

Can anyone please please please give me recommendations/tips/pointers whatever really as to where i'm going wrong,. right and where I could improve etc.

Thank you very much.

P.S. I've read on the acne board that masturbation stirs up hormones in your body, so I haven't masturbated for like a fortnight. Is it worth it?

Please be aware all this plan is in its early stages, I expect it will benefit my skin of course, but how much?
