My daughter, almost six, has had continous dripping....never able to completely potty train. After several testing procedures, the urologist found that she has 2 complete ureters attached to the right kidney. Unfortunately one attaches below the bladder, causing dripping. Does anyone have any information regarding this condition, and/or the surgery to correct it?

I have heard of it and was suspected of having it but tests results showed otherwise. They can correct it by shutting off the extra ureter. The would go in laprascopically and seal off the end.

No, being that it is connected to both the kidney and the bladder, it's my understanding that it will probably be relocated. Her urologist has told me that it would be a incision requiring 3-4 days in the hospital.

Was hoping that someone out there may have had some knowledge of the surgery and what the success rate was.

See response to Robyn (info for my baby)..... Boston's Children Hospital may be able to give you info on success rates.
