View Full Version : weird sensation in tooth when I press on my chin

Hi everyone,
I noticed yesterday that when I press right above my chin (kind of where my bottom lip ends and my chin begins, if that makes sense), I feel a strange tingling, almost-sore sensation- kind of more like pressure than actual pain, in one of my front bottom teeth. I've never felt anything like this before, but I've also never had any cavities or anything, so I'm not sure what this is... could it be a cavity? Something wrong with the root of my tooth? Should I see my dentist right away, or wait a few days to see if it goes away?

Thanks!

Definitely go see a dentist right away.
I had a weird sore sensation in one of my teeth not long ago, than a few days later it cracked. Turns out I have a cavity that is very deep in the root and now I need a root canal. :(

Go see a dentist right away, you could have a similar problem.
