Hi,

I had some dental work done about a month or so ago. I feel like a filled in filling on a bonded tooth has settled and it is rough a bit and annoying me. Do fillings settle a bit after the work is done? This is a compromised tooth and I don't want to fool with it too much as it is a root canaled tooth fourth from the front on left top. Couldn't be capped as after the root canal (I had an abscess) my dentist told me he saw a fracture in the rooth. It is annoying me though.......

Do fillings settle a bit after the work?

does anyone know if fillings settle (after a while). What I mean is, does it or do they sort of grind down or get lower?

No they don't.

If it is ill fitting have your dentist adjust the grind next visit.
