I've been looking and looking for a good mascara that helps volumize and lengthen my eyelashes. I kinda have shortys so I'd like to make them a little more dramatic and long if possible.
Thanks is advance!

Maybelline Sky High Curves mascara is great for making them look longer. Better than any other mascara I've used. I heat my eyelash curler with my blowdryer, curl my eyelashes, use the regular version of Sky High. They end up looking long and pretty :)

Maybelline Full n'Soft, most likely THE best mascara I have ever tried and I tried them all, from drug store cheapies to $50 mascaras from French and Italian makers. Always come back to Full n'Soft. NOT waterproof kind.

Everyone has a favorite; right now I like Maybelline XXL. It has the "white coat primer" you use first, then the mascara part. And no clumps!!! Other than that, the Maybelline Lash Extension. I still go back to that all the time!
It looks like, so far, with Maybelline, I don't think you can miss. All three responses are that brand. Hmmmm......must be good.

Rimmel Lycra Lash Extender! It's cheap at Walmart (about $5) and has lycra that makes your lashes longer. I apply two coats of it and people always comment about how long my eyelashes are, but it's really just my mascara! I also like Maybelline Full N Soft, but Rimmel Lycra Lash Extender is my new favorite and it's a bit more dramatic. Out of the other reviews, I also liked the Sky High Curves but the bottle kept drying out fast! I don't know why since I screwed it on well, but it was a while ago so maybe there was a bad batch of them or something (happened twice).

My absolute favorite mascara is Cristian Dior Diorshow mascara. It's pricey but it's by far the best mascara I've ever come across! It doesn't clump, it lengthens and it thickens your lashes. You can find it at Sephora for about $23-- trust me, it's worth it and it lasts a while and doesn't dry out!

It's so strange to have two different people using the same product and having completely opposite opinion on it.
I have tried Diorshow and didn't like it at all. It was one of clumpiest mascaras I had tried and made my naturaly long lashes look fake and unnatural. As I said, I think I tried almost every mascara ever made (even ones that are not available in the U.S and even vintage ones and still come back to Maybelline Full n'Soft.

I like CoverGirl’s Lash Exact Mascara. I know what your thinking, but it really makes them look long and more...I dont know...just pretty! and for the girl who posted saying she uses a blowdrier?? umm they make heating curlers for eyelashes. ;) anyways its pretty cheap, and you cant really miss it (its purpley-pink and they are advertising it everywhere!) it has a plastic brush (wich helps with clumpyness) so in my opinion its awsome. it doesnt wear away but its not waterproof I dont think. anyways I hope I helped! :)

Does your CG Lash Exact ever flake? I loved how it looked on my lashes but during the day I would get little flakes under my eyes, very few, but it was still annoying because sometimes they fall into my eye and I wear contacts sometmies. Chanel Innimitable also did that to me, but both looked great on. Seems like almost all mascaras do that to me except for the more "flexible" kind like Maybelline Full N Soft & Rimmel Lycra Lash Extender. I guess my eyelashes are stiff or something. I don't touch them during the day.

I prefer Christian Dior's DIORSHOW (both the Blackout and Unlimited). However, I have also had great results with Chanel, Cils a Cils, Blinc Kiss Me Mascara and Shu uemura Fiber Xtension.
As far as a drugstore brand, anything from L'Oreal generally works well. However, most of the other drugstore brands have been too watery for my liking.

At the moment Im trying Almay's one coat "triple effect" mascara. It has a different wand, its got a row of regular sized bristles on one side and on the other side its like the bristles were trimmed down really short. I guess your supposed to use the short side after the long side for more volume, but Ive only used it twice and quick in the morning so I havent "really" tried it out. But before that Ive used Max factor's 2000 calorie mascara and Loreal's voluminous and I prefer Max factors because it was easier to kinda "shape" my lashes with it, rather than the Loreal has so much product on it that it just makes them heavy but doesnt let me sweep them up like the MF's.
Im getting used to curling my lashes with the wand by pushing them up slowly and getting them up as much as I can, and then when it dries I push them up more by kinda making them curl with my finger and holding it like that for a few seconds. It just gets a more natural curl than with the curler and I think it works because if the heat from my hand, I cant stand when they just stick straight up or I cant get them to curl the way I want them to.

I just purchased a cult favorite in Japan, Imju Fiberwig yesterday and it works really well at coating your lashes. Adding that to my favorites...
