I got a black eye, and now the bruise around my eye is better, but my eye is still blood shot red, im guessing due to the popped blood vessels. Does anyone know how long it takes for the blood vessels to heal and what I should do to speed up the process...thanks

How long has it been? If it worries you, then you should go to an ophthalmologist and get checked out just to make sure that there was no damage done to your retina.

I had a quite big black eye once and there was a red spot on the side of my eye that took a while to go away... I would say 2 or 3 weeks before it was completely gone. The doctor said it was normal, I don't think you need to worry to much about it unless it is still there after a long time.
