Hello,
Hope all are feeling good today.
Do any of you know of any affordable homes, condos or apartments that are available to people who are disabled?
Thank you for always being so helpful.

hello shondrea, the only thing that I know of would be the apt that are based on income. the ones here are pretty nice and fairly new...my town in alabama offers these to the disabled and low income folks. our town is very small and they would look at you funny if asking about a condo..LOL
you didnt post what state or country you are in that might help someone give you better advise to what is available.
Give your post a little while so other people will have a chance to read it and respond there are a bunch of great folks on this board with good information..someone will come along hopefully soon..
take care

Try contacting the public housing depts in the area. I know in NC, the city housing (public housing) frequently has units just for elderly/handicapped. My dad moved into one after my mom died and his diabetes got so bad his dr made him quit working. It was run by city housing and his dr had to fill out forms for him to get into it because his SSDI had not been approved yet.
