my husband is going to court over workers comp , he was injury oct of 05 , he was left with a herniated disc they put him in a back brace for 6 months w/ pain killers they did a MRI, cat scan and a bone scan then after 6 months he went back to the dr. he told him to take the brace off and released him back to full duty , he still lives with pain and we tried to go back to the dr. to tell him about it but the dr. said there was nothing he could do, and would not see him , so now where going into court and I don't think our lawyer is worth flip but all the other lawyer say that nobody is going to step in now so we have to keep the lawyer we got. if anybody out there can tell me anything about going to court over this I will be so greatful, a worried wife

The statement "theres nothing more they can do" is exactly what they try and make you believe. They know they are responsible and they are trying to get you to go away. Keep the lawyer and the court date. I was told the exact same thing. I wish you and your husband the best. Just don't give up.
I agree with dub...After being in the system for 5 years starting with my husband's injury which took 3 years for him to win and myself now being in it for a year I know we all need a good experienced WC attorney, need to worry about our health first and have the patience of a saint becaue this WC sytem is so slow. Good luck to all.
