View Full Version : Chronic problems with lightheadedness

Hello everyone,

I am chronically plagued by a feeling of pressure and ?sick feeling? and dull pressure above my eyes, sometimes at the bridge of my nose. This often leads to a feeling of lightheadedness. I have had two sinus surgeries, one less than a year ago, sinus CAT scans are ok. This feeling often turns into a chronic headache, too, especially on the left side of my head. A little nauseas sometimes, but not to the point of vomiting....

Well, the sinus surgeries did not solve my problem...I have also had an MRI of the head (said ok), various blood tests, heart stress test. I am wondering if this was not sinus problems and is emanating from somewhere in my neck? Never had a neck x-ray...BTW getting resistance to doc's, who are chalking it up to stress, cause they can't figure it out.

Does anyone have a similar problem, and if you do, have you figured it out? This is NOT stress.
Really appreciate any help.;)

BWEB.

I'm in the same boat. Constant swimmy head, sinus pain/pressure, stuffed nose and ears, the whole lot. Been feeling like this for 1.5 years and have not figured out the solution. I haven't had the surgery and I'm not sure it'll help much to be honest. What type of surgery did you have? Any work done on your turbinates?

Hi Sanufi,

I am not sure mine is sinus after all this...had two endoscopies, cleaned out maxillary on the first one, and removed scar tissue and cleaned out the upper sinuses on the second.

By the way, if you do elect to get the surgery, it is an easy one...just a bit of follow up, no lifting, etc. but not too hard to deal with...just hope it helps you.
