I was diagnosed with low thyroid in March 2006. My doctor said low thyroid can increase depression, so she upped my anti-depressants and put me on Synthroid.

Hey-there is hope!
My OBGYN and psychiatrist worked together and put me on Prozac and birth control pills. I take the pills for 3 months at a time without a period-so I only have four periods. It worked and it is a common combo among doctors.
I hope this helps!
