Hi!

I posted a few wks back about symptoms that I thought might be associated with some kind of gall bladder issue. Well, I finally went to my primary MD and she also suspects a gall bladder issue. I am getting an ultrasound tomorrow. Hopefully I will get a tech who will "narrate" the procedure so I'll know tomorrow if they find anything.

I'm not so worried about finding gall stones or sludge or inflammation, I'm more concerned about what if they don't find anything??? I mean these symptoms are getting ridiculous to live with.

So, wish me luck. I'm going to get a snack as I am NPO at midnight!

mine was fine too. Then they did the Endoscopic test and took a biopsy of the gb and found cholesterol crystal (microscopic) so they said they would turn to stones. I am having surgery July 31st.

I will. I appreciate it. I am hoping to not to need a lot of pain meds. I hate taking Lortab. It makes me feel bad all over.

Well, my ultrasound tech played by the rules and wouldn't say anything...didn't even tell me what she was looking at (which organ). I could see her notations on the screen (liver, pancreas or gallbladder). My gall bladder was pretty "bright", but other than that, none of those images means anything to me. They "may" call tomorrow, but I should know something on Friday.

I'll let you know what, if anything, they find. Wish me luck!

The guy that worked with me told me he could not tell me much but that it looked normal. I was kind of worried because I did not know what was making me so sick. You always think the worst or I tend to. Anyway then they did the endoscopic procedure and did a biopsy on the GB and it showed microscopic stones so that is when I was finally diagnosed. I was relieved that it was not something worse. I did not have stones big enough to see on the ultrasound. I hope yours comes out well. It could be GERD they told me before this diagnoses.
