So yesterday I took my 4 month old for his well baby visit, he is 13lbs 8 oz and 24 inches long! Doc said he good size, just petite and perfectly proportioned. the best news was he said he can start eattin ceareals and fruits and veggies! i tried him on rice the past few days and he does pretty good, last night, i sat him in his high chair, got a small jar of sweet potatoes, and put a small spoonful in his mouth, he smiled and loved it! he ate the whole jar!!! I was so happy because i also have a 2 year old who hated baby food and was allergic to the rice cereal so he was just bottle fed formula until 14 months, never ate (allergic to milk til then) I still cant get over it im so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D :)

So happy for you JuniorMom, I can't wait to get to that stage, my baby is only 4 weeks old :) is your baby teething yet? I think when my baby is able to eat solid or pureed foods I will start with sweet potato also, I love sweet potato, am pretty sure she will too!
