gas pains near my heart? It is very scary. I've been having these gas pains for about 3 years now. Not all the time but when I get them, the pain is very sharp and I'm always ready to go to the ER. I have a lot of stomach issues, gall bladder, closed bile ducts, pancreatitis, GERD, BE, hiatal hernia, IBS but these gains pains are the worst. Just wondering why I get them up so high and not in my stomach. I do go for regular blood work every 6 months and yearly colonoscopy and endo and I just went through a series of heart tests, being 52 I wanted to get checked out, and everything comes baack good, especially my heart tests which show no problem. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks Linda

HI Linda, I get the same pain over my left breast and it moves to the center. It has sent me to the ER a few times. I also had my heart compeltely checked-out. I'm 51 so I take my heart health very serious. My cardio even approved a CT scan of my coronary arteries to put me at ease, I was that crazed about my heart!! After months of tests and having my gallbladder removed, I have just received a dx from an ENT of acid reflux/gerd.
Sounds crazy but I am so happy that the ENT saw the problem when she put that scope down my nose and into my throat. I wonder why my gastro doctor did not see it back in January when he did an endoscopy. I've been feeling horrible since December. Gas pain can cropped-up anywhere in your body and I seem to have a lot of it since I had my gallbladder removed in January. For the last 7 months, I've been complaining about the pain over my breast and about the non-stop burping! Have you tried gas-x, I thought that helped along with a 1/2 tablet of xanax to ease the anxiety over the whole thing..................

Thanks for the reply Donna. Seems like we are in the same boat, age wise too. Having your gall bladder out does give you more gas I was told. But like you stated, at our age , the heart should be taken very seriously now.
Gax-x does helps me too. I've been taking it for years. Guess I'll to deal with the occasional pains. Thank goodness the pains are not constant or I'd really be nuts:jester: Take Care
