Hi can anyone tell me if they ever heard of eyelid margin disease, is it the same as meibomian gland dysfunction and what are the symptoms i was diagnosed with eyelid margin disease by one eye dr and others say its dry eyes due to my lacrimal gland i wish one of drs knew what they are talking about

You're doctor is generalizing his/her diagnosis. Stop by the office and request a more definative diagnosis. The doctor should have noted a more specific diagnostic assessment besides "eyelid margin disease".

The only diagnoses I can think of that he/she is referring to would be... capped meibomian glands, meibomitis, meibomian gland dysfunction, or blepharitis....Again, stop by the office and ask. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
