I would like to eventually get my vision corrected. But I've heard there were more then one type of surgeries out there, that can improve your eye sight. I want something thats either permanent or close to it. Which has the least amount of side effects? Which is the most expensive. I want to have a career in Law Enforcment, and I need to have good vision, which is why I ask. I'm looking into Lasik surgery. I've heard that it's become more of a popular practice, and that there are less ans less side effects. Can someone help me, please?

I've read there are a bunch of types of corrective vision surgery. Suck as RK, PRK, LASIK, and LASEK. And top of that I heard there are lasers that are FDA approved and some that aren't. Anybody, know anything?

Try this non-commercial site:
http://www.geocities.com/SouthBeach/Pointe/7561/

It is a bit dated, but there is lots of info there. It helped me a lot.
