just had lasek on first eye one week ago.apparently my vision in that eye was 6/60, and is now 6/9. what does that correlate to in 20/20 terms, and what is considered blind?

6/60 is the same as 20/200

6/9 is the same as 20/30

blind is the same as blind...can't see anything.

Emmab:

20/200 corrected vision in the better eye is considered legally blind. So, prior to surgery, if your acuity with glasses was 6/60 in both eyes, you were legally blind. If one eye was better than 6/60, you were not.
