Hi. I am 41 yrs old and had a heart attack Sept 2006. I had no clue it was coming. I had quadruple bypass surgery 3 days later. One week after I was home, I had some pain on my left side and had a bleed into my left lung from the graft site in my breast. They used arteries and veins from my knee arm and breast. Emergency surgery corrected the bleed. I was still in the hospital 4 days later, and was having trouble breathing and had surgery on my right lung because it had filled with inflammatory tissue and fluid. Some where along the way, during all this I had a stroke in the left brain stem (according to the MRI). I have had diabetes for 27 yrs. I was wondering if anyone has experienced something like this and if so, how things are going?
