i had lasek on my first eye 9 days ago. the long distance vision is better already, but at the moment the eye that was done is blurry for reading and upclose stuff. will this correct over the coming days/weeks??? i have heard it can be a temporary thing, so how long should it take to resolve???

According to the FDA your vision may fluctuate for 3-6 months after LASIK. They said there is insufficient data on LASEK at this time to determine if it will vary from LASIK. Since the difference between LASIK & LASEK is how the "flap" is created and not the procedure that is performed on the cornea, I'm guessing that the fluctuation time is going to be similar.

Have you called your Dr and asked him/her how long they wait before they declare the results "final"?
