I was wondering - How long can indigestion last? What are the symptoms?

Indigestion will last as long as you eat foods that contribute to it. ;) Do you have reflux with the pain?

Indigestion is different for everyone, I think. I have some mild pain that travels up to the jaw bone. I tolerate a lot of foods my spouse cannot and vice versa. For me, it is a matter of eliminating fried fatty foods, spicy foods and sugar. Dairy doesn't bother me in moderation.

There are many things that mimic indigestion and you should see a doctor to rule out the other more serious possibilities.

Have you seen a doctor?

Thanks Ish. I do have pain. Below my rib cage - it goes from side to side. I'm not sure what it is. It started with naseusa about two days ago and then went to just dull achy, weird pain. I am 22 and normally healthy. I called the doc. He said just to watch it a day or two and come in next week if I don't feel better. I wonder what it is?
