First, I am able to wear pretty much any contact lense in my left eye with no problem. Most contact lenses hurt my right eye, including Acuvue. I was given a trial of Optima and Newvues. Surprisingly, they were comfortable in both eyes, but gave me blurry vision. I have a mild astigmatism in my left eye. I can see clearly through the the Acuvues, but again, it hurts my right eye. What's up with that? Any ideas? Why can I see clearly through the acuvues, but not the Optima or the Newvues? Why does only my right eye hurt with the acuvues? I started wearing contact lenses when I was 16. I am 32 now, and started having problems with my right eye when I turned 30. I am desperate!
