hello, i have been having a bunch of symptoms lately, and my mother thinks its all due to the fact that i dont wear my glasses ever, even if i really need them, so my body tries to focus too hard and all.....here is my symptoms
1. at night in the dark or first thing in the morning my vision shakes, specially when i open and close my eyes forecefully.
2. i have lost a lot of balance, feel like everythings moving around... doctor ruled out any ear problems.
3. i get dizzy a lot especially when i sit still too long and suddenly move
4. i have eye floaters
5. very sensitive to light, i see a bunch of shadow like things and occasional bright spots.
anyways, this may all sound crazy but i dont know what it is, and it freaks me out, i havent worn my glasss in 4 years and i have a pretty high nearsightdeness. thank you!!!!!!

Why don't you wear your glasses if you can't see?

do you always see the shadow like things? do they ever move to a differnt spot in your eye? or seem to stay in the same place?

the thing is my glasses are broken so i cant wear them and i cant get them fixed now because the place is really far away and since we're in a foreign country because of my dads job i have to wait till summer to go back to spain and get it done... but i see shadow like things whenever i look at something for too long that is bright and i turn away and i see the afterimage shadows...its weird to xplain, i donno...

The afterimages thing sucks. Sometimes for me it takes minutes for the things to completely fade. I've had my eyes examined by an opthamologist and two different optometrists and they saw nothing wrong with my retina (but maybe I need to go see a retina specialist?) My bet is that it's not your eyes. I'm also really sensitive to light and adjust slowly to changes in light levels...
