Hi,

I have that problem like many of you. I'm addicted to Caffeine and when I drink a can of Cola I feel much better. When I drink Coffee I don't feel the same feeling
I can't understand why is that. It's not the sugar because I don't add sugar to my coffee and I drink diet coca. Can anyone comment on this?
Thanks for help,
Michael

I place my vote in for coffee. I have friends who swear by the cokes. To me, i prefer coffee.

I find that I need both soda AND coffee or I just don't feel right! They each give a different kind of buzz. I really need to quit all forms of caffeine and soon but it is dam hard..

Yes it's very hard :(. I have few days off but I think I need more than 4 days. Soda has a better effect on my brain more than coffee and this is not working for my health at all.
Thanks for help,
Michael

Regular coffee has more caffeine than soda. I find that if i drink a soda instead of coffee i'm still a zombie in the morning. I don't know why you would experience the opposite. It must be the sweetener in the diet soda.Or maybe your coffee is decaf?

I say quit drinking soda and coffee!!

Soda is one of the worst things for you, its pure sugar. I bet if you stopped drinking it for a week or two, you'd notice a lot of things changing. I bet your skin would improve and you may even lose a pound or so. And, I bet you'd actually find yourself with more energy than you feel you get from drinking it! Like anything with caffine, you get a quick energy surge, then you're almost knocked further down than you were before you had that first cup. So you go back for a 2nd, then a 3rd.. and so on.

Instead of replacing one with the other you need the discipline to limit yourself to one glass a day, or none. Switch to water.. or tea with little to no sugar!
