Hi, I am a 29 yr old female. For the past year I have had a constant stomach ache. Originally it only came on or got worse after I ate something. The pain starts about 2 inches below my breastbone and goes down about three to four inches. I went on Nexium last October, it took about two months for it to kick in, which I hear is not normal, and lasted for about four to five months. I was fine in that time period. I got pregnant and went off of the Nexium, had a miscarriage, went back on the Nexium and for some reason it has never worked since then. I have been on it now almost three months. The last few weeks it has gotten almost unbearable. Now along with the stomach ache I have some nausea and gurgling and hotness in the same area. I had an endoscopy done last Sept and he found nothing except that my lower esophageal sphincter was loose and not closing. I am having another endoscopy done in a week. I need this to end. I feel like I am no longer a good wife because of this. I don't know what to think. OH, and I was just put on carafate yesterday, so far no real changes.
