I had lasik 6/28 and was originally -8 and -7.....Now I am -2.something in both eyes.....Much better than before but very uncorrected (I feel) BUT legal to drive they keep saying.....Dr. said it might get better and I could have a "touch up" in three months if I still need it than which I know I will (don't feel I'll improve much after more than 1 month).... Was anyone out there undercorrected like this....did you get an enhancement?????? Did it help?? i just ordered some glasses to get by especially at night even though I'm driving ok right now...Will the glasses avoid my eyes from healing to their potential.......Share your experiences please

It is impossible to be -2. something and still be legal to drive. Legal to drive in most states is 20/40 which translates for most people between -0.5 and -1.0. No way you can be -2.25 and "legal to drive" without glasses.
Also -2.something is massive undercorrection or possibly regression.

HI I had custom lasik three months ago, very bad eyes -.9.50 and -10.00 eyes now are 20/25 and 20/40. I go for an another checkup in August, but my eye doctor said already that I will probably need an enchancement on the right eye. But I am waiting until October for my 6 month check. I don't know if I want to go thru all the healing again. It is just getting better now. meaning dry eyes and night problems. But you were very under corrected. my eye doctor under corrected by -.75 in right eye and .50 in left. It is funny but the day after the lasik , my vision in myright eye was 20/20. I felt my eyes are basically where they will stay. I still see better in the morning, but as the day goes back it gets alittle bit blurry. Maybe I am still healing. I will post my 4 month check up soon. Good Luck I would probably get an second opinion about your eyes.

I know I will need an enhancement....I'm thinking I didn't get the full correction because I was only out of my contacts a few hours when they did the full examination before the lasik and only 3 days before the surgery....(I wear soft toric) even though they say it's ok since they are soft I've read that you have to be out of them at least 7 days cuz they still change your eyes shape...........The doctor I went to is actually one of the best around here (Mcallen, Texas) and I know more than 5 people including my sister and neice (who was a -15 and -14) who all had excellent results...............I guess it's my bad luck!!!! But I dread going through the healing process all over again.......I'm wearing glasses for now...............
