back on teh 26th june i had a leep at the hospital.
i eventually got my letter friday,a lthough i knew what it said as they'd read it down teh phoen,a nd it wasnt very much: just that what they had removed could of ebcome serious if it wasnt treated, tehy hope they have removed ita ll,a nd will see me again in six months".
prior to teh leep the hospital had todl em nothing about my app and colposcopy reults, but my doc had kindly goen through the report he received with em,a nd so i knwo from him taht it was indicated i had cevere dysplasia, but thsi had not travelled to the canal.
anyway i took it upon myself to booka n appointemnta t the docs so he coudl read my enw report and expalin it...btu whn i rang thsi afternoon (As my appointments in teh mron), tehy still ahdnt received anything from teh hospital.
so i rang teh hospital, to eb told by teh secretaery taht tehyd onts end out the pathologist reporst to doctors, and when ia sked well could tehy tell me what it said i wa stold no, and evenw ehn i asked about severe dysplasia etc they said we find sicolsing such thinsg makes peopel worrya nd so the colposcpy clinics here in engalnd are under orders not to discuss this,a nd just to treat :-(
tehyw oudlnt even tell me if i have celar margins (tho said to eb givena sixth month date means even if i only have a small clear margin teh head colposcopist felt it was enough tos uggest they have got ita lla nd could wait six montsh not three fro my call back).
and even when ia sked about depthe xpa,lining iw antesd to know so that my aprtner and i coudl make informed chocies in teh future re conception: i was told taht peopel erad too mcuh on teh internet and scare tehmselves!
in tehe nd i said to eb hoenst teh whoel reason i want to knwo is so taht id ont get scared. in teh end she said if my doctor rings tehyw ill fax him teh report.
so i rang teh doctros back: who were annoyed with teh hospitala s tehy ahd refered me trhere,a nd tehy shoudl eb receiveing copies they say, but the clinic seems to think otehrwise. its liek my health is stuck in teh middle of a beaurocrotic arguement,a nd whjo knwos if tehyw ill eb able to tell me anything tommorrow!!!!!!
