My right arm hurts....no known trauma.
It's around the elbow and goes up to the shoulder sometimes but other times it's down to my wrist....OR BOTH...... it's not swollen, but it has been waking me up at night and every so often I get slight throbbing.
I've done research on carpal tunnel and it just doesn't sound like that could be it. I've done research on tennis elbow and it really doesn't sound like that.
It's not been a gradual onset at all. It honestly just feels like a bad sprain. Wouldn't I KNOW that though? I don't know of anything that happened.
Any input? Thanks!

I had a co-worker complain of similar pain. It turned out to be frozen shoulder- but I know nothing else about it. Try looking it up. Good luck!

Hi,
I get the same pain and it actually is a pinched nerve in my upper back/shoulder area. Instead of rubbing your arm try having someone massage your upper back, concentrating on the muscles next to your spine. If your arm feels better that's likely the cause. Pain can radiate from differnt areas than where it originates. Sometimes my chest hurts under my left breast and I found out it was actually my shoulder on the same side.

I will try that! Something has to help!
Is this something that will work itself back to normal with the massage?
Thank you!
