I have right upper quadrant stomach pain for 7 months. It bagan with upper stomach pain and diarrhea for about 4 days. Then intermittant diarrhea which lasted 2.5 months It is constant but tends to get worse after eating anything fatty. The pain radiates to my upper back on the right side and left close to the shoulder area. Sometimes it is on the upper left of my stomach. I have lost 14 lbs.

First GI said IBS. The second GI Dr can't do anthing more for me. I have had the following tests

Colonoscopy / endocsopy / barium
4 rounds of full bloods over 7 months - all normal
Urine - had a some burilium in it ( sorry not sure on the spelling)
2 abdomen CTS with contrast (1 pelvic) 3 month apart ( small ovarian cyst)
1 ultrasound of the liver, pancreas, gallbladder & kidney - showed fatty liver
2 ER visits- xrays, bloods,
HIDA scan
MRI of the back showed mild scoliosis in the upper back and some bulging discs- ortho Dr said that had nothing to do with the pain.

I was sent to a Nurologist - he gave me some pain meds that do not work.

I have recently started belching. I do not know what to do but I cannot live like this. I am a 42 and the only time I am not in pain is when I sleep.

I have been put on AD's they have not helped at all.

If anyone has any insight. It sounds like Gallbladder but the tests came back normal. The Dr's say the fat in the liver woudl not cause this type of pain.

If anyone could give me some insight I would really appreciate it.

sounds gallbladder to me.. what was your ejection fraction?
sometimes stones don't show up on ultrasounds but are there when the gallbladder is physically removed..
